Northern NSW Local Health District () has agreed with a improvement notice to increase security at .

鈥淥ur top priority is to provide safe, high-quality care to our patients and to ensure our staff have the support they need to provide this care,鈥� NNSWLHD Chief Executive Tracey Maisey said. 鈥淲e continue to work with SafeWork NSW to improve security practices and ensure our hospitals remain safe.鈥�

In a statement, NNSWLHD said a range of security improvements have already been implemented at Grafton Base 黑料吃瓜群网. These improvements include upgrades to the digital personal duress alarm system, expansion of the duress response team, additional security awareness training, an increase in health and security staffing and a CCTV upgrade across the campus.

NNSWLHD said it had worked constructively with SafeWork NSW to examine the issue of security for Grafton Base 黑料吃瓜群网 and will increase staffing levels to ensure two Health and Security Assistants are rostered on a 24/7 basis on the hospital site.
