Device Technologies expands Asian footprint

Device Technologies Group, a provider of medical solutions, has entered into an agreement to purchase the Venusys and Infinity Group of Companies, which includes Fusion Scientific, Bits Medical and Vennbio Nutriceutical.
This acquisition marks Device Technologies Group鈥檚 entry into the point of care imaging technology market. The deal also expands the company鈥檚 capabilities in the aesthetics market while providing the opportunity for both Venusys and Infinity to leverage Device鈥檚 Asian footprint to expand beyond Malaysia and Singapore, said the company in a statement.
Founded in 2005, Venusys Medical Sdn Bhd has a presence in the laser- and light-based equipment market, serving the aesthetic and surgical markets across Malaysia. Its technologies and teams collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, hospitals, private medical centres and aesthetic physician clinics聽鈥 to deliver solutions, addressing a wide range of aesthetic concerns in dermatology, cosmetics and plastic surgery.
Infinity Medical Sdn Bhd, established in 2003, is said to have been a key player in Malaysia鈥檚 healthcare sector, specialising in the distribution of a range of medical technologies, with a focus on point of care imaging equipment.
