has officially completed its acquisition of the business and has commenced a recruitment drive to cater for growth.

The Stepney site has been rebranded as Burnside 黑料吃瓜群网 Stepney and it is now recruiting for an additional 20 clinical staff as demand increases for the facility鈥檚 five operating theatres.

鈥淪ince announcing that we were going to acquire the business, the response from the market has been extremely pleasing,鈥� Burnside War Memorial 黑料吃瓜群网 CEO Alan Morrison said.

鈥淲e have had a great deal of interest from orthopaedic and plastic and reconstruction surgeons requesting operating lists at Stepney. These will start to be scheduled toward the end of September and will really ramp up through October and November.

The acquisition has doubled Burnside 黑料吃瓜群网鈥檚 current capabilities to 10 theatres and 125 beds across its Stepney and Toorak Garden sites.

Burnside 黑料吃瓜群网 is now seeking to fill roles including scrub nurses (registered and/or enrolled), ward staff, medical orderlies and more.

鈥淏ecause we acquired 100% of the business, we haven鈥檛 had to change the employing entity or the EBA for staff at Stepney, which has really helped with creating a seamless transition,鈥� Morrison said.

鈥淲e are in the process of receiving approvals to make Stepney a not-for-profit hospital 鈥� just like our Toorak Gardens site 鈥� which will also allow staff to enjoy greater salary sacrifice benefits.鈥�

The acquisition of the business includes the head lease on the Stepney premises and came into effect on 1 September following the successful conclusion of due diligence.

鈥淲e want our community to understand that, no matter at which site they receive their treatment, they鈥檙e going to receive exceptional care,鈥� Morrison said.

Updated branding is now being rolled out across both facilities to give each its own identity under the Burnside 黑料吃瓜群网 umbrella.
