HeraMED soft-launches maternity solution with Telstra Health

, a listed medtech company focused on maternity care, has announced the soft launch of HeraCARE within the Telstra Health鈥檚 Smart Connected Care ecosystem through targeted GP clinics.

The partnership with MedicalDirector platform servicing GP and healthcare professionals, signed in November 2023, marked HeraCARE as the first remote maternity solution to join the Telstra Health digital ecosystem. The launch was announced at the RACGP Practice Owners Conference in Cairns, Australia.

The initial step in the commercial rollout focuses on recruiting the first group of GP clinics (鈥榚arly adopters鈥) for integrating HeraCARE into and GP workflows. This phase aims to optimise care and commercial models while gathering feedback from the Beta Program before a full launch to the larger network. On completion of the soft launch, HeraMED anticipates marketing to the entire GP clinic customer base and onboarding mums through Telstra Health鈥檚 GP clinics by the end of calendar year 2024.

Both the companies will jointly promote the integration of HeraCARE into the Smart Connected Care ecosystem through education and marketing initiatives as part of the Smart Partner Marketing Plan.

HeraMED CEO Anoushka Gungadin said, 鈥淗eraCARE is a mum-centric solution and the partnership with Telstra Health allows us to expand access to care for many more mums, given the significant role GPs play in maternity, pregnancy and postpartum care. Following integration and commercial rollout within this new ecosystem, we are targeting the onboarding of mums through GP practices by the end of calendar year 2024. This aligns with the four-point plan both for commercialisation and strategic partnership while redefining how maternity care is delivered and experienced.鈥
