The MIKO IV Monitoring system saves聽healthcare workers from having to regularly check how much fluid remains in a聽patient鈥檚 IV. It does this by monitoring the weight of the IV bag.

Leveraging Bluetooth low-power technology, the system constantly collects IV drip information into a cloud-based database, providing real-time status to caregivers. It incorporates information about IV bags and IV sets, including brands, models, medications, capacities, gtt/mL and more.

MIKO聽has a physical alert, with the monitor聽flashing a聽red light and emitting a beeping sound (with volume control) when it is running low, a blue light when it is empty and a green light when it is monitoring. The alert can be configured by mobile app or via MIKO鈥檚 software; the cloud-based solution can be public or private and can easily be integrated into third-party systems.

The IV monitor has a self-checking battery alert to advise the user when the battery is running low.
