WF Media's healthcare channels to support Wounds Australia 2022

ºÚÁϳԹÏȺÍø + Healthcare and its new sister media channel, Aged Health, are pleased to announce a media partner agreement with industry body for its major annual conference and exhibition to be held in Sydney this September.

To be held at the ICC in Sydney from 14–17 September, will bring together local and international industry professionals, researchers and innovators in wound care and management to share the latest trends, developments, scientific research and evidenced-based case studies to improve outcomes and cut costs. The exhibition will feature market-leading vendors displaying the latest products and technology.

Chronic wounds affect around half a million Australians at any given point in time, with around $3 billion spent on their care and management. Each chronic wounds patient spends over $4000 on out-of-pocket costs, according to Wounds Australia. With most patients over 65, that places unbearable pressure on pensioners and retirees, according to Wounds Australia. The industry body is committed to driving much-needed change at the national, state and territory level, supporting wound education and awareness, reducing harm caused by wounds and improving patient outcomes.

As a media partner, WF Media's health channels — ºÚÁϳԹÏȺÍø + Healthcare and Aged Health — will support Wounds Australia Conference 2022, providing coverage and promotion on both channels. The inaugural launch issue of Aged Health will also be distributed to the conference delegates.
