Nurses and midwives are invited to join their colleagues at the annual nursing informatics annual conference, , to connect with global leaders and engage in discussions of working together — with peers, patients, systems and data.

Running from 23 August–2 September with the theme ‘’, the online event recognises nursing professionals as frontline users of digital solutions. Nurses and midwives are ‘nurse navigators’ in the world of digitally driven, patient-centred health care, increasingly engaging with patients and consumers on health data and information.

Shelley Nowlan, Chair of NI 2021 and Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer of the Queensland Department of Health, invites nursing professionals to engage in the event, which features more than 230 speakers from more than 20 countries, seven live panel discussions, six interactive workshops and 50+ hours of the latest nursing and midwifery informatics topics from around the world.

The program includes key emerging topics around career pathways, technology such as artificial intelligence, ethics, data analytics in primary care and more.
