The National Rugby League (NRL) has teamed up with the federal government to encourage Australians aged 50–74 to ‘Get It 2gether’ by taking the free bowel screening test from the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program (NBCSP).

Only 41% of eligible Australians participate in the free NBCSP according to , despite bowel cancer being the second biggest cancer killer in the country. Over 90% of bowel cancer diagnoses can be treated successfully when caught early, and the government provides people aged 50–74 years with free bowel screening tests every two years.

As part of the push to increase participation in the NBCSP, the NRL is giving away four tickets, flights to Sydney, accommodation, VIP seats, a hospitality package and a meet and greet with former players Dean Widders, Geoff Toovey and Petero Civoniceva.
