Reach for the Skies with Rural Health Scholarship

First year Nursing and allied health students in Victorian universities are invited to apply for the 2015 'Give Them Wings' health scholarship.
The scholarships, valued at $2,500 each are offered by the Royal Flying Doctor Service Victoria and Rural Health Workforce Australia and include a behind-the-scenes look at how the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) operates.
CEO of the RFDS Victoria Scott Chapman said the scholarships are designed to give country students a flying start at university.
鈥淭hey also symbolise our commitment to tackle the shortage of .鈥 His comments were echoed by RHWA CEO Greg Mundy, who said: 鈥淐ountry students are a big part of the future of rural health. We鈥檙e delighted to support them with this scholarship and also connect them to our network of university Rural Health Clubs.鈥
Applications for the 2015 鈥楪ive Them Wings鈥 scholarships close on 31 March.
