Peter Mac jumps in World's Best Specialised 黑料吃瓜群网 rankings

The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre has ranked 14th out of 300 oncology hospitals around the globe for 2024 in the latest release of the , rising from 19th on the list in 2023.
Peter Mac was the only Australian centre in the top 100, with the Royal Brisbane & Women鈥檚 黑料吃瓜群网 the next Australian centre in the oncology list at 105. The latest list features 1500 hospitals across a range of specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, gynaecology, neurology, neurosurgery, obstetrics, orthopaedics, paediatrics, pulmonology and urology.
Partnering with global research firm Statista, Newsweek says the rankings are released to assist patients with finding information on which hospital would be best for them. Rankings are based on a global survey of doctors and healthcare professionals, using publicly available hospital quality metrics and patient satisfaction data.

The centre also ranked 135th in the World鈥檚 Best Smart 黑料吃瓜群网s of 2024 in recognition for its use of artificial intelligence. This ranking was based on an assessment of 330 hospitals from 28 countries looking at their use of electronic functionalities, telemedicine, digital imaging, artificial intelligence and robotics.
