Improving hand hygiene compliance has been identified by the World Health Organisation as one of the key strategies to reduce ºÚÁϳԹÏȺÍø Associated Infections (HAIs) globally. Australian hospitals are now mandated to conduct ongoing audits and submit the results to Hand Hygiene Australia – which can be a timely and labour-intensive exercise for any already time-constrained hospital department.

iCombat HAIs is a brand new paperless, mobile audit application that has been designed, according to the World Health Organisation’s 5 Moments for Hand Hygiene, to make compulsory hand hygiene audits easier, quicker and more effective for hospitals. It increases the speed of data collection and collation, whilst dramatically cutting data processing time. Furthermore, iCombat HAIs is coupled with a powerful enterprise information portal (EiP), a real-time evidence-based decision support platform.
