Finalists for the 2015 WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards have been announced.
Western Australia's聽Health Minister Kim Hames said the 34 award finalists had been selected from an impressive field of nominees.
鈥淚 congratulate all our finalists, who have been selected by the judging panel from a field of high calibre professionals and individually recognised for their efforts,鈥� Dr Hames said.聽鈥淭he finalists come from a diverse range of work and practice environments and all have demonstrated excellence in their field.鈥�
鈥淎wards such as these provide the wider community with an opportunity to recognise and reward the ongoing commitment of our nurses and midwives to improving patient care,鈥� he said.
Winners, including 2015 WA Nurse or Midwife of the Year and the recipient of the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Honour, will be announced at a dinner on Saturday May 9, 2015.
